The 2019 Copa del Rey win ended an 11-year trophy drought for Valencia CF, but continued an impressive honour matched by few sides in Spain. The club maintain a record of lifting at least one trophy per calendar decade since their 1941 cup triumph.
Only FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have managed such a feat since then. Valencia CF have enjoyed two ‘golden decades’, in the 1940s -winning three LaLiga titles and two cups- and the 2000s, when they won LaLiga twice, the Copa del Rey, UEFA Cup and European Supercup.
